Based on the Coyote Habituation Scale you saw on the previous page, which scenario depicts coyote behavior that indicates high habituation?

This is actually an example of coyote behavior that certainly indicates habituation, but it is not considered indicative of high habituation based on the Coyote Habituation Scale. Be sure to use hazing techniques if you do see a coyote.
A
Sightings are infrequent. Most observations are at night, some occur at dawn or dusk.
B
Nighttime sightings are more frequent. Daytime sightings occur occasionally.
C
Daytime sightings are frequent. Coyotes are seen stalking or attacking pets.
D
Encounters with bold coyotes are frequent. Coyotes are very difficult to scare away. Dogs are attacked while walking on leash.
